About

I’m a 30-year-old ex-philosophy student, looking to make a difference in the world. I was reading people like Plato and Confucius, who had this insane idea that the purpose of understanding the world better was to go back and do something with it. Insanity! Clearly writing journal articles about obscure points in their writings would be a better lifestyle? … Or not.

I had been fortunate enough to working with a group called Aquinas and the Arabs which explored the way in which the cultures of the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe have been intertwined over the last couple millenia. There is a place for good scholarship, and this scholarship can have important political ramifications.

But I want to make this sort of information accessible. I want to make people ask questions, to give them novel ways of working with their lives. I want to show the poetry of reason and the art of logic. It’s a work in progress, as you can see.
